Other Exhibits The Fort Morgan Museum also has a variety of smaller exhibits that focus on the technology, people, and natural history that combine to make Morgan County the unique area it is. Birds- Fort Morgan was home to the first ever Junior Conservation Club. We are the heirs to some of their natural history collection. Phones- Telephones were adapted fairly early in the area, we even had our own phone company for awhile, and there is still an independent phone company operating in the county. This switchboard was from Fort Morgan Junior High and the phone booth, which has no numbers, was from Stockman's National Bank in Brush. Printing Press- This press was owned by Clyde Stanley of Keota. Keota itself was in Weld County, but Stanley's work crossed many boundaries, including time. He was one of the old newspapermen that James Michener thanks in "Centennial."
